Brendan has also been a Director/Coach in the Laxachusetts Club Lacrosse program for the last 6 years. During this time he has coached kids at both the High School and youth level. Many of the kids he has coached have gone on to play in college, at either the Division I or III Level.
As a high school player, Brendan started his New England Lacrosse career at Lincoln-Sudbury High School after moving to Sudbury, MA from Croton, NY in 1990. As a sophomore, he led LS to their first State Title in 14 years, and finished off his High School career being named an All- American in 1992 & 1993. He was also named a Boston Globe & Boston Herald All Scholastic in 1992 & 1993, and was Boston Globe Co-Player of year in 1993.
After High School, Brendan went on to the University of Massachusetts (UMASS) where he was a four year starter at attack and finished his career ranked 5th all-time leading goal scorer in program history. While at UMASS, he was named All New England multiple times and was a 3X All- American. As a senior captain, he helped lead UMASS to the NCAA Quarter Final game where they lost 11-9 to eventual NCAA National Champion, Princeton University. Brendan capped off his college career attending the 1997 North/South Division 1 Senior All-Star game, where he earned player MVP honors after scoring 5 goals in the game, including the game winner in OT.
After College Brendan went on to play for the Brine Lacrosse club in 1998 and 1999, and in 2002, he played one year for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse. Brendan currently resides in Duxbury, MA with his wife Jenn and their two boys, Brady and Wyatt.
